Do you want to scale up your business?
Do you currently have a successful organization and are you wondering if franchising is the best growth model for your organization? Through our Franchise Discovery, you can find out if becoming a franchisor is something suitable for you and your company. Are you already sure that franchising is the best growth model for your organization? Then you can skip the Franchise Discovery and read more about developing a franchise organization.
What does it take to become a franchisor?
During a Franchise Discovery, we provide an overview of what franchising entails. We analyze the opportunities your concept and the market offer, the financial implications & potential, and also look at alternative ways to scale the concept. Additionally, we identify the challenges involved in enabling growth through franchising or other means. By the end, you will know in broad terms:
- what the best way is to further scale your concept
- what tasks and responsibilities arise from this growth
- what the financial potential of your concept is in broad terms
- what it takes to become a franchisor
- what it takes to develop a franchise formula based on your concept
In one afternoon, you will understand what franchising and other growth models can mean for your organization. After the session, you will receive a report from us outlining the key opportunities, challenges, and next steps. A concrete action plan to get started immediately.
The approach of a Franchise Discovery
The approach of a Franchise Discovery is as follows:
- We prepare a short checklist/questionnaire.
- This is filled out and returned by everyone who will attend, after which we study the input.
- The meeting then takes place at our office in Hilversum.
- After the half-day session, a report with a clear action plan is delivered.
Will you become a franchisor?
During the Franchise Discovery, two consultants from Koelewijn & Partners discuss with you the key aspects involved in a broader expansion of your concept. Here, we also consider other non-franchise options, including licensing, cooperation, agency, growing independently, and an improved omni-channel approach.
This makes the Franchise Discovery an excellent tool to ensure that all internal stakeholders are aligned on the steps to be taken for the further growth of the concept.
During the Franchise Discovery, we specifically focus on:
- the content of your concept
- the unique selling proposition and the ‘franchisability’ of your concept in the short and long term
- the analysis of (international) growth opportunities
- the optimal ‘rigidity’ of the collaboration
- the global division of tasks for your concept if you choose a collaboration form like franchising
- the exploration of financial aspects
- the action plan for achieving the collaboration form that is optimal for you
If during the Franchise Discovery it becomes clear that you are ready to become a franchisor and start a franchise organization, we are happy to help you make it a reality. The first step will be the development of the Franchise Business Plan.
